You can't really tell from the picture, but Eric really smashed his thumb the other day bringing in a door for the downstairs. It hurt him so bad, and he was in so much pain! He had his brave mom (because neither he nor I could do it) stick it with a hot paper clip through the nail to relieve the blood. Well, blood exploded all over the bar, but eventually it felt better. Crazy how something little like that can cause so much pain!

Your husband sounds like a big baby. :) Actually, it still feels like it is asleep and is a pretty purple color.
