Jeffrey

Here's Jeffrey's softball picture. His game was rained out and honestly so am I!!! It has been raining and raining here! Also, proud of Jeffrey for getting in there and trying!

Halee

Here's cute Halee's softball pictures. She endured the wettest, coldest game ever tonight and her team won. She was crying and shivering like none other and even felt sick at the end, but she made 2 homeruns. Proud of her for sticking in there even though she does not want to be!!!

Halee in softball

Halee is in girl's fastpitch softball. It's a little unfortunate, because this is her first year, and she had to be on the older girl's team that have been playing for a few years. She's doing ok and hanging in there though. She is perfectly fine with playing outfield. Her team is the Florida Lady Marlins. Hers is definitely the more competitive team as they have traveled to play games to Bear Lake and Soda Springs, Idaho. I'm proud of how she has stepped in and tried to be a part of the team!

Tribute to Papaw!

Jeffrey is now on the Coach Pitch little league. He is too big for Tball. He is a "Texas Ranger" and is very proud of that fact because his Papaw, my great dad, loves the Rangers. When I told him that fact, he smiled from ear to ear and said, "I won't let him down!" He has surprised us all and is doing pretty darn well. He isn't afraid to go after the ball, nor to hit. In fact, he proved us wrong. We kept having him bat right handed, and he wouldn't hit very many, he would say he wanted to hit left handed, but we said, keep trying right handed. Finally, he switched hands, and hit almost everyone! He hits every time he bats now, and he is officially a "lefty" when it comes to hitting. He was very proud of this video I happen to catch tonight at his game. Go Jeff! And "this one's for you, Papaw!"

Tball

Ethan is the only kid still in Tball. Jeffrey and Halee are on bigger teams this year. Ethan loves Tball, and he is on the "Phillies" team. He says his red shirt and hat make him look like Mario and make him run super fast! But of course, the best part of Tball is not the running, nor hitting, nor the catching, it's the treats at the end! =)

Fun over memorial day

Over Memorial Day weekend, we picked up the kids from school and headed off to Utah for the weekend. Uncle Luke and his family have moved into a house in Clearfield, and we spent some fun time with them. They have two little boys that are 3 and 2. They have a great house and we got out the slip-n-slide and pool and played frisbee and catch. Ethan loved the slip-n-slide the best, and Jeffrey loved playing Frisbee.
